A travel agent that saves you money

Our goal is to save you money on travel whether you use points or cash.  In an effort to save you the most amount of money possible, Jef became a travel agent with Ruppert Travel Company.  I know what some of you are thinking…travel agent?  Who uses a travel agent anymore?  Before Jef started this, we would have certainly agreed with you.  There are some travel agents that are not concerned with saving you money.  In fact, some think that you should pay a premium for their services.  That’s certainly fine if that’s what you are looking for but our focus is different as you can probably tell from this website.

The benefits of working with a travel agent

By working in the travel industry, Jef is able to get access to information and deals that are not accessible to the public.  Besides getting great deals, travel agents can also provide expert advice.  Travel agents have to take a ton of training.  While we’ve been to a ton of places as we’re always traveling, the training also provides more information to give you the best advice possible.  Jef knows what’s a good deal and what to avoid.  The other benefit to using a travel agent is that they can quickly solve any issues that arise.  Waiting on hold for an hour to speak with someone is the worst.  Travel agents have special phone numbers that only they can access.  This allows them to quickly solve problems for you.  

Travel agents don’t cost you anything!

Possibly the best thing about working with a travel agent is that it doesn’t cost anything extra!  The travel companies pay them so you don’t have to.  In fact, travel agency commissions are built into a lot of prices already so if you don’t use a travel agent, the cruise company will just pocket the money.  

Our non-profit mission

As you may have seen elsewhere on this site, our focus is on supporting various charities from pet and wildlife agencies to cancer research.  This means that when you hire Jef to help plan and book your travel, you are supporting some great charities that are doing very important work.  We also support disaster relief via the Red Cross.  In 2023, we donated $1,000 for hurricane and wildfire relief efforts in Maui and Florida in addition to various wildlife charities.
